Transport and storage facilities Program

KIPERUDI with the support from AAPM, “fame nel Mondo” (Lugano-Switzerland), has constructed a fully-fledged warehouse/ store for farmers produce in Mugarama sub county of Kibaale district. The warehouse serves as a collection and storage point for community farmers produce. This helps them to collectively bargain for good prices in the market and preserve the quality of their produce for a longtime.

KIPERUDI with the support of AAPM, “fame nel Mondo, secured a lorry that helps farmers in their agriculture work. They are in position to transport their produce from their respective homes to KIPERUDI warehouse and later to bigger markets hence attracting good prices for their produce.

The above programs mainly concentrate on imparting knowledge and skills, creating access to markets and accessing farmers to production and good storage facilities for attractive market prices.
