Small scale Humanitarian Entrepreneurship Business Program

KIPERUDI has attracted a pool of talented youth, women and supported them in exploring their talents to the rest of the community so as to increasingly share the skills and empower the vulnerable communities in alleviating poverty. The groups supported includes:

God’s grace Beauty Salon. This salon is owned by one of the beneficiaries from KIPERUDI scholarship who dedicated her service to the community to empower those who did not get a chance in attaining education with skills in hairstyling, hair dressing, cosmetology among others. These skills help especially the young girls to attain incomes to accommodate their basic necessities of life.

Kleen Care Liquid soap enterprise limited. This also acts as a training association to the community in soap making, distribution of liquid soap to the less marginalized communities at affordable costs, employment ground for many youth, women and elderly. This has empowered some members Community with the skill hence enhanced sanitation and improved living standards in their respective families.

Kizizi youth Engineering and Consultancy group. This group was started by one of the beneficiaries of KIPERUDI scholarship. With the major aim of capacity building in construction and reducing youth unemployment. After her studies, she decided to give back to her community by starting up a group that empowers the local people with skills in brick laying, making of pavers, concrete poles, cement poles, clay blocks, roof tiles among others. In addition, the produced materials are supplied to the community at affordable costs. The skills attained by the youth help them to support their families in attaining affordable income statuses.
